Hiring a classic is not like hiring a modern Eurobox. Each car is very different and we want to make sure you are getting the car you want and that you are fully aware of the little ‘idiosyncrasies’ that make classics special. We do have a booking form, which allows you to enter in your hire details.
This is the amount our insurers have set as the policy excess. This means that this is the maximum amount you will pay in the event of an accident.
If you are involved in an accident and/or you return the car damaged then your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the excess just as it would with your normal car insurer. If a third party is at fault then you get your excess back once the claim is settled. If you have damaged the car then the excess will go towards the cost of repair. If the cost of repair is less than the excess you will be refunded the difference.

You have an agreed hire contract which includes the hire period. If you are late then you will be charged a minimum of ½ day hire to cover the additional cost of insurance and our time waiting for you to return.
We do our best to keep our cars as reliable as possible but some of them are 50 years old and – let’s face it – any car can break down! If you should break down then call us first as we may be able to fix the problem over the phone or come out to you directly (depending on how far away you are). Each car is registered with the AA and you will have a contact number for the AA roadside and recovery so call the AA and they will come out to you. If the car cannot be fixed then the AA will recover the car to Wrangaton.
